Do not use this company! They were 3 days late picking up my car. They broke down 5 times along the way from Georgia to California. They had my car for 3 weeks! I called the State Patrol and was told there was nothing they could do even if I never ever saw my car again. The company had not commited a crime because I entered into a contract with them. All I could do was take them to small claims court if my car was not delivered. Kind of scary huh? I paid a fortune in rental car fees. They even passed right by me a week earlier when they went from LA to Sacramento!
Finally, I received my car and it was damaged!!! I only had 1100 miles on a 2007 Acura RDX. I was told by the driver to fax my estimate to someone who claimed to be the owner of this contracted hauling company up until he received the bill. Then suddenly, someone else owns the company! Some one from New York. I spoke with this gentleman and he said he could send me half of the money one week and half the next. I rec'd the first half about 2 weeks after we spoke. It has now been over a month and have not rec'd the second half. The phone numbers I have are no longer in service!
Cross Country does not return my phone calls and has not from the beginning! I am still waiting on a $700 check for damages! I wish I had googled these jerks before I used this company! A lesson well learned. One I will not repeat. Please do not use this company. From now on I will drive my vehicle!
