United Auto Credit called me, my mother, my sister all the people on refferance list and told them that I owed them a lot of money (which I did not) after I had my son early. I got home from the hospital they were the first place I called to arrange extension. They told my family and people on refferance list that they are reposessing my car if they do not receive payment in next 2 hours
United Auto Credit is lying, cheating lending corporation. Their employees are trained on what to say to scare someone. I was 7.5 month pregnant and my water broke. I came home with my child home 3 days later. Since I was not prepaired for my child's early arrival I did not have that much money saved and my insurance copays, emergency care, not being able to work for next 2 month was very overwhelming. Due to my son's good condition we were sent home under one condition - that being at the doctor's office twice a week. My insurance did not cover a lot of expenses and I had to pay in order for the same doctor to see him. Mean while I called the United Auto credit and explained my situation. I spoke to the branch manager who was very nice, he told me that I could extend my payment (no problem). My car payment was due 2 days later. At 8:00am I received a phone call that they did not get my payment. I told them that ZI spoke to a branch manager giving his name, when I was told that he would never authorize such thing. I again explained my situation at which point I was transfered to a that very person I spoke to who was not very polite... Screaming that I was lying and if the payment was not received in 2 hours he was sending out agents to reposess my car. I did not the money so I did not make the payment that day. The next morning it was saturday my sister, my mother and people on referrance called me one after another told me that they received a call at 6:30am and were threaten by the employee saying that they were responsible for the payment since they were references. Later on I got a message on my phone that my car is going to be reposessed by 11:00AM. I did get money from my mom and paid them... AFTER GETTING MY PAYMENT THEY ASSESSED ME WITH PENALTIES AND INTEREST...
