Jordan Towing
Charged us for 7.5 hours at $400 an hour for two trucks, job took less than 3.5 hours ripoff

On 8/1/07 our company rolled a large mobile mixer cement truck, we called Cornish wrecker service to come get it upright and transport to our yard. However the Frisco, Tx. Police department who worked the accident called Jordan Towing out of Plano, Tex.

Jordan Towing got to the scene first so we called off Cornish. Jordan Towing was dispatched at 5:15pm, arrived at the scene at approximately 6:15pm.

At approximately 8:00pm, Jordan towing Inc had the truck upright and ready to transport to their yard located approximately 15 miles away.

I left the scene just prior to Jordan leaving. Frisco police officers advised Jordan Towing left the scene around 8:00pm.

Hasco Environmental arrived at the scene around 8:00pm and and advised that Jordan Towing and our truck were gone.

My complaint is two fold. Why were two towing trucks needed, at $400 per hour? And why were we charged for 7.5 hours on both trucks, plus a flatbed truck. My second and most serious complaint is how could it take 4 hours and 4 minutes to drive approximately 15 miles to their yard?

We were charged a total of 7.5 hours on both trucks.

We recently had Cornish Towing transport a truck from Louisiana to our yard in Keller, Tx. After getting it upright, and they charged us $5500.00.

I also wonder if Frisco Police Department and Jordan Towing don't have some kind of "sweet" deal working?
I called Curtis Jordan and complained about these ridiculous charges, he said what the heck, your insurance company will pay for it.

Our insurance company probably will pay for it, especially since Jordan demanded a check before he would return our truck. I continued to question his charges and he told me "this is not my first rodeo, pal". Well, it's not my first rodeo either. I think this is one of the worst rip offs I've ever seen.

I'm the safety director for this company and I'm a former FBI Agent, so I suppose this is why I hate to see this kind of activity.
