Tim Dahle Nissan Murray
Charged me ten thousand over sticker!

I bought a new Nissan Titan truck in 2007 from Tim Dahle Nissan. I was a returning customer and thought I would get a good deal. I bought my truck from the same sales person that I dealt with before

I have never been one to haggle over price, I ask for a couple of free oil changes or maybe a full service and that is about it. I have always thought businesses should make a profit, that includes car dealers.

The deal went smooth and I took me new truck home. Later that night I was looking over my paperwork and it looked like I was charged over sticker. I went out to my truck and looked in the glove box and the window sticker was not in it, I looked in all of my paperwork and I had no window sticker.

At this point I thought I must be wrong on the price and I would go to the dealer the next day and find out how much the sticker price was.

When I arrived at the dealership my sales person was not in yet so I went out to the lot and found the same truck as mine and the price on the sticker was $10,000.00 less that what I was charged.

Still thinking I must be making a mistake I left and figured I would call my salesperson later that day.

When I called Later I asked my salesperson how much the sticker price on my truck was? He said the sticker should be in my glove box. I told him it was not and that I would like to get one for my records. He said he was not able to get me another sticker for my truck. I told him that was fine just tell me how much my truck was priced for? He put me on hold and came back with a number, it was the same number that I got when I was at the lot earlier that day.

At this point I was still giving the dealership the benefit and told him that it looks like the numbers did not match up I was charged to much for the truck and that I would like to come in the next day so we could clear it up.

I really thought that the dealer just made an honest mistake, after all I was willing to pay the sticker price without a discount.

The next day I arrived at the Tim Dahle Nissan and my sales person immediately introduced me to his Floor Manager, when I shook his hand he was wearing sun glasses. We are standing inside of the dealership and this guy has his sun glasses on. I thought he would take them off, but no, he left them on for the next five minutes while I explained the situation to him.

He went to talk to some other manager in a glass office and no joke that guy had his sunglasses on too. He came back a few minutes later and told me that we agreed on a payment and he could charge whatever amount he wanted for the truck. I pointed out that I was charged $10,000.00 over the sticker price. He said the sticker is put on by the manufacturer and dealer was allowed to charge whatever they wanted... He still had his sun glasses on.

The floor manager said he did not know what the problem was because I agreed to the payment and that's all that mattered. It did not matter that I
was charged $10,000.00 over sticker. The payment was all that mattered and I agreed to the payment.

At this point I asked to speak with the general manager. He pointed to a guy that was standing in the showroom speaking with someone else and said I would have to wait until he was done and he would get him to talk with me. Believe it or not the General Manager was wearing sun glasses too. I have been at the dealership for fifteen minutes all three managers that I saw had sun glasses on.

After about ten more minutes the Manager I was waiting for got on an elevator and that was the last I saw of him. The floor manager came back over and said that the general manager had to go to a meeting and could not speak with me and then told me that it did not matter anyway because he would have just told me the same thing, I agreed to a payment and now I could do nothing about it.

Who's fault is it? Mine, I thought because I was so easy to deal with and was willing to pay the sticker price that there was not much they could do as far as ripping me off. I was wrong.

I fill stupid for letting this happen to me, I trusted a car dealer, I trusted Tim
Dahle Nissan. Wow that was stupid.

Whatever you do, in my opinion, NEVER BUY A CAR FROM TIM DAHLE NISSAN.
