This company treats people like cattle: they bring in experienced drivers and tell them to quit other company;then has them sit in 3 days of orientation then finds some bogus reason to send them home and wont even pay way home..
Or like myself they bring in students from driving schools and promise training, the 'trainers' do not have a clue or the time to train. Told it will be 3 weeks (at a measly under $300) but noone gets through it that quick, and I kept saying over and over 'WHAT I NEED IS BACKING EXPERIENCE!" but noone still bothered to give that to me, so I left the 1st trainer when it became apparent he was bi-polar and not safe to be in truck with. The 2nd trainer dropped me off to upgrade, after driving for 3 days and expecting me to say i drove to get my 150 BTW hours in. I refused and the training dept got upset with me..
Every trainer seems to follow a different training manual, because none even follow the same logging procedure. They all treat you like outsider on trucks;I had to sleep with my bags on my bunk..
When it came to upgrade i was still never given much backing training as I had expected. I started to watch a video on backing procedures and was very helpful but the tester did not want me to finish it because he wanted to 'get the test over with, so he could go home' I had gotten 100% on written test (which wasnt easy) and well on all other driving but I knew my backing would not be good. And the tester told me i needed several more hours of just backing and they were not prepared to let me do that and I was sent home..
I was told by the head of training dept. That I could go to another company and get proper training and then come back.
