I saw an ad in the newspaper about stevens transport. I went to see a recruiter and said i going to this school and get my cdl. I did the 3 weeks of school and got my cdl. I started my on the road training which was suppose to be 9 weeks in 2 periods. A five week training with a trainer and a 4 week traning with a finishing trainer. Well i went thru the first 5 weeks of training driving. I drove 10 hour days. On the mot of those days i drove 10 hours straight without a break. When i completed my first 5 weeks training, i was to go back for 4 days of orieintation before i go back with a finishing trainer. Well i was told i could not drive for stevens anymore. I did not quit. They let me go and now i got a call from a lawyer representing stevens transport saying i owe stevens transport 10,000 dollars in tuition fees. If you quit stevens transport you are responsibile for it thats what they tell you when you go thru the school. Stevens is misleading and a rip off. I would suggest that if you go to truck driving school go somewhere else. I am also going to file a complaint with consumer report bureau and the media.
