I bought a car from the scam artist 20 days ago and was assured that although it has 100,000 miles it was mechanically sound and would last me a while. I am a college student who didnt want a car payment so i saved up 8200 for a car and bought this "reliable" piece of crap.
Since i have had the car within the first 2000 miles after the dealer changed the oil and gave it to me the oil light came on and it took 3 quarts of oil to fill it up. The radiator has lost half of its fluid. The engine has started to start really rough if it starts on the first 3-4 times. The ac hose has mysteriously sprung a leak, and some other stuff.
This all happening although the dealership continually told me it was a reliable and good car. I called today and spoke to the salesman greg from internet sales who game me the invoice number on the car. Then i was transferred to the service dept which told me all about everything that had been fixed, including the head gasket and stuff like that.
Then i was transferred to the sales manager who just jerked me around and said hey you bought a car without a warranty and with 100,000 miles on it what did you expect.
So much for reliable huh. So when i told him about the mounting and extreme cost he pretty much blew me off and said that most of the problems probably came from the garage that i was taking the car to get checked out at because all his people were nissan tranined mechanics and dont make mistakes.
So i probably caused the damage myself in the 20 days that i have had the car and am trying to put it off on them. So much for the 105 point inspection, when i asked what they meant by being mechanically sound, that means it moves and starts to get off the lot after that it doesnt mean anything.
This dealership is a rip off. They will not do anything about the piece of crap car that they sold me and they just blow me off. Go to someone else. The sad part is they wanted 12000 for the car imagine if someone was taking a loan out on this and had to fork out the money i had to fork out already. Their sales, service, management team stink.
Pass this on to all of your friends dont buy cars from any of the 1st dealership in simi valley. They dont care they will sell you anything to get your money and then they will tell you about the crappy car after your were assured by their people that it was reliable and good.
