According to their "Satisfaction Guarantee" if you cancel within the first six months you will receive a "Full refund of the annual membership fee" ($69.99). However, when I did so they said I was only entitled to a prorated refund of $45 dollars because I used the service (and by used the service they mean that I sent in one measly $5.00 gas rebate incentive). I talked to about 6 different people and had them all read the terms of the Guarantee, but I got back the most ludicris excuses I have EVER heard. One woman (an account supervisor!) actually said "How can you be unsatisfied with the service if you used it?" What the heck does that mean? I mean, how can you can unsatisfied with the service if you have not used it? I guess they guarantee you will be satisfied as long as you don't try to use their service?
Not only that, but I wanted to quit because their phone system is HORRIBLE. It is all sound activated so if you are locked out of your car and trying to dial in from a noisy area, you just end up having to enter your member number over and over. I gave up and called AAA.
Do Not Sign up for this service. You WILL regret it.
