My wife went to the dealer lenz motors on april 1st and met with the owner lenny jones. She said she wanted a 2007 toyota camery fully loaded with all the bells and whistles so he said i will get you one from an auction in california. He gave her a false vin # to a vehicle she never drove and said take that vin # to your credit union to get financed for a loan and bring me the money back and ill go to cali to get the car. Well he went to cali and got a totaly different vehicle with a different vin # on the contract. So the bank has one vin # and she is driving a different vin #. Well she had the vehicle for 3 months with the wrong vin # so its like a rental car. She has no paperwork on it and the contracted vehicle on is owned by someone else who knows were. She can't get insurance the vehicle did not go through emmisions (emi) or an out of state inspection (osi). He won't let her reverse the loan even though it was his mistake. He lied to the bank and said the vehicle had leather, spoiler, custom rims moon roof to get more of a loan from the bank. She got a base model camery then he said he would put those things in the car well its been 3 months and no results!!! Also the bank questioned us on the features on the vehicle and if he was powerbooking loans. They said he had to reverse the money or they were getting there lawyers on him.
Its called a restricted endorsement were the money from the cu is good only when she is driving the vehicle from whats contracted. I filed a complaint from the atterny generals office, a complaint with the bbb and my old neighbor nicole who is a news ancor is involved and ready to put his dealer in the spot light for a while. We gave the car back we want th total loan for 25k reversed asap other wise things are going to get really, really ugly.
