Sold me a used car as a new car the car has been in service 6 times

On 12-9 went to Huntley Chevrolet to purchase a New 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer in a certain color that they were the only dealership in Illinois to have. Test drove the vehicle all seemed fine, noticed the carpet floor mats were dirty and there were napkins in the glove box. Questioned the sales manager about the mileage and napkins he claimed the vehicle was a demo for a short time and they would replace the floor matts and detail the entire car.

Well we purchased the vehicle and that is when all the problems started. Driving home we noticed loud wind noise coming from all the windows. Once home the next morning looking over the car in daylight, found all kinds of knicks and scratches. They had me bring the vehicle back, gave me a beatup used car to drive.

Picked up our new vehicle a couple of days later did a walk around and it looked ok except for the dirty floor mats that they washed not replaced they guaranteed me they would order them 5-14 still have same floor mats which turns out to be the least of my problems.

Drove the vehicle home still noticed the wind noise from the windows and a vibration from the drivetrain. While waiting for a new service appointment went to register the free ONSTAR service that comes free for 1 year. Onstar informed me that the vehicle was already registered 9-23-06 to someone else living in elgin.

Called dealership spoke with sales manager Bill Comerford who said he would take care of it. 2 days later Onstar said no one called, ten called back and spoke to general manager Bill Mcquade. He assured me he would handle it.

2 days later called and spoke to owner Jeffrey Wulbert finally that got corrected. Then started having all kinds of problems with the vehicle transmission problems, engine, electrical and numerous small items. Contacted the owner again about this he suggested to come in they would get me out of that vehicle. Went in met with his new general manager Joe Marino. End result was they wanted $5,000 dollars and raise my payment by $80 month and take a $10,000 loss to go into a 2007 vehicle that is the same as what sits in there service dept that I own. That was a waste of three hours.

Now we found out from the DMV that this vehicle was registered 9-23 by someone else so what happened we cannot find out. All I know is they sold me a used vehicle as new. Also asked why the vehicle did not have an MSRP on it they claimed it got ruined when a customer test driving it put the window down, but I was promised a new one which it is probably with the floor mats that i am waiting for since 12/06.

My next step is to contact the Illinois Attorney General, GM and my personal attorneys that are on retainer with the union I belong to.

So beware at Huntley Chevrolet in Huntley IL Do not make the same mistake I made if there is no MSRP on the vehicle no matter how much you love the color or vehicle DO NOT BUY IT!!! What went from the SUV I worked so hard to be able to buy to a total NIGHTMARE
