I had gone to this dealership to trade in my 2001 PT Cruiser. I initially wanted a 2007 Versa or a sentra, but they had chosen a 2005 Dodge Durango with a dvd entertainment system and a navigation system. I signed a contract, which stated that Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. Was going to finance the vehicle. Then the finance manager told me congratulations on my purchase.
Then seven days later, I received a phone call from a sales manager telling me that they couldnt find a bank. I told them that I had a bank on the contract and he went on to tell me that the sale fell through and that he was sorry (yeah right!).
So I went to the dealership on monday April 30th and spoke with the general manager. He told me that he had an approval from another bank and will find one. So, I had waited two days and called to ask the if they found a bank, the sales manager told me they were still finding one.
Then I received a call from a different sales manager and he told me to return the car because they couldnt find a bank which means that they have lied to me and breached a contract.
I filed a complaint to the Virginia Consumer Affairs and they have basically backed up the dealership. I complained to the BBB and they had sided with Hall. I guess its because the membership dues they are paying the BBB. So if anyone lives in the hampton roads region, dont go to any of the Hall's dealerships.
