Before I bought a vehicle I asked if the vehicle was ever in an accident, had any recalls or if the airbags were deployed and was told NO. I began the process to purchase this vehicle based on the answer of NO to my questions. Found out that after the sale was done that I had been lied to in order to sell this vehicle to me with the knowledge that I would have NEVER purchased this vehicle if I had not been lied to.
I had strongly express my demand for safety for me and my children in a vehicle. Even after the said that they would try to undo the financing and allow this deal to be undone found another lie because they never tried and then kept the vehicle to address all the problems that I outlined in writing and never completed and said that they weren't going to do anything else.
I don't know the time frame to obtain legal advise on a case like this but I feel that the dealership made sure that my choices would be limited or nothing at all. I have not been able to find an attorney in NC to deal with this type of case and tried to take this issue to the BBB and the dealership stated that they didn't do anything wrong according to the ethical process. Is it legal for me to be lied to with full knowledge on the behalf of the dealership in order to obtain a contract and not fullfill there promises after the fact?
