Detail steps

1. The estimation was $400-500. I did not get written estimation.
2. I left the car, and a few hours later, the estimation was $800.
3. I was told that if I decided to cancel the repair, I need pay for $100.
4. I asked if discount, and got student discount (10%)
5. I got a remanufactured compressor with $724.36

The rip off
1. I never was told that is remanufactured compressor, they hide the information from me.
2. The price if the remanufactured compressor is very unreasonable.
3. The estimation was not estimation at all, and it was bait.
4. I do have written warrantee (although they told me in the email after I emailed them)
5. The price of the GE compressor is an over price. You can find the price is a rip off price if you do some research on the new and remanufactured compressor.

Conclusion

Since I am not an expert on the auto repair industry, I believe there are other tricks they might have done to my car.
