My 18 year old daughter bought a car from Jim Farnam, only for it to fall apart driving it home from the lot! He fixed it, she brought it home. My husband, a certified mechanic, said it had lived underwater for some time, as you could see by the rust in the motor, and the smell of mildew in the car. She drove it for approx 2 months before it fell apart again. The transmission went out. He told her he would fix it, and just let her pay him in installments for repairs. He took the car (made her sign it back over to him, and gave her a car in worse shape to drive. She brought it home, and her father and I drove her and the car right back.
He is a rude nasty man. He made some sexual remarks to me and my daughter, and called my husband a wetback. We told him to take the car, it was a piece of crap, we would just file complaints against him, and sue him. She gave him almost 2,000.00, and has nothing to show for it. 10 days after returning the car, her sent her a letter of repossession! What a jack*s. Save your money, buy a car from some one with a good reputation.
