I bought a 1998 chevelot malibu. I drove the car and the car sounded good. I only drove the car twice. I drove it off the lot then I drove it home. When I drove the car home and parked it then drove it to work the next day. After I got off I stopped at the red light and heard a noise. I called jd byrder and told them the noise that I was hearing and he told me to bring the car later on in the week. I told them I dont think it could wait any longer. He told me to bring the car in. When I brought the car in they said they will fix it. I told my boyfriend to go and pick my car up. When he brought me the car it sounded even worse when I took the car. I called them back and they said that the car was fix and that I was just paranode about have a car and hearing things.
I drove the car arond the block and the engine light had came on and transmission was gone because it had stop pulling and cutted off on me several times. The motor was also gone. I acalled them bck and they kept me on hold and then telling me that the manager was in a meeting and the could not come to the phone. When I called the service back he told me the car towed in and that I had to pay to get the car towed to them. I told him that I was not paying for the towing and for them to pay to get it towed. He said that I had to get it towed. We had a few words over the phone and then I talked to the service mangaer and the general manager. I ended up getting another car. Now I am having the same problem with this car I just got. They wouldnt let me get my down payment back that was the only reason that i ended up with a carNow i have been calling about this car that i have and he will not even come to the phone and they suppose to have been putting some struts on the car.
They gave me a recipt and the struts where never changed. Now the car is slipping because of the transmission, need struts, brake, and muffler tighting. They suppose to had tighted the muffler when Igot the car. They put something in the car to make it sound good for now. I have test ever car that they had on lot and all of them are a piece of shit. Dont ever ever buy a car from them.
