They have the worst customer service who wouldn't hear of something which they could have been accountable for
I locked my keys in my car and requested a road-side service. They assured me they would send someone out right away, and would call when they arrived. When I got a 5 minute notice call from them, I went outside to meet the driver. I spent about 10 minutes looking for him and he was nowhere to be seen.
After about an hour, I called AAA again, and they told me someone at work informed the driver I was not there. I doubt this happened since I was already outside waiting for him any no driver went in.
Because they had to make another call to another driver, this counted as a second service call. Even though they were told by a STUPID idiot at work that I wasn't there, I was waiting out front the whole time and there was no visual confirmation that a driver was even there. I do believe the driver was out for a free meal and didn't show, but AAA wouldn't hear of it and had charged me another visit.
Did they hire a corrupted driver? Couldn't they take that into account, not penalize the person who requested and paid for their service?
No matter what the problem was or who was at fault, AAA has no heart whatsoever. This will be the last time I will sign up with them. I'd rather pay a towing service myself and be assured I get the assistance I pay for.
