Faulty parts, will not respond

Purchased IFS for customer project 1956 F 100. After completion of build, power steering would loose assist after warm-up at approx. 5-10 miles. This failure occured at 950 miles. I changed p/s pump as this would be easiest due to hose routing on rack. Still had same problem, So I contacted Justin @ Scotts who stated new rack would have to be paid for and to send old rack back for examination.

Ordered new rack & was charged 195.00 40.00 shipping. This was 10/31/06. As of 03/10/07 my account has not been credited. While installing rack we noticed a crack in front crossmember passenger side slightly below upper control arm pivot.

Again called Justin @ Scotts who admitted at the time IFS was purchased there were three other similar failures due to poor workmanship by an employee who was fired. Scotts advertises lifetime warranty. His next reply to me was to send pictures, remove crossmember and return for replacement. My reply was, it is easier to repair than to remove entire front of truck. Justin stated, so fix it.

Sent invoice for repair which included price of rack (195.00 233.75 r&r rack) (552.50 repair of crossmember total 981.25) Replacement of rack fixed steering problem. Customer also called and sent pictures. Justin denies receiving pictures and will not respond to email.
