In January my wife and I purchased an extended warranty on our Chrysler Sebring from Warranty USA. We never received any mail or other correspondence from the company letting us know they were going bankrupt.in April we filed a claim to repair the fuel pump on the Sebring and found that we had to first pay for the entire repair and then supposedly by mid may or june the claim would be reimbursed less our deductible.
Well I made several phone calls and kept getting told they were in reorganization and that our claim would be paid within a couple of weeks. I just called their customer service number and now find that it is no longer in service. Imagine that.
We paid these people over a $1,000 dollars for our warranty and needless to say we were never covered. I wish somebody would help all of us consumers get the money back that we paid them at least. That would sure set my mind at ease about the way american business practices are going.
