Repossessed vehicle 7 days after accepting vehicle payoff, western unioned to them

To avoid further struggles with payments, I made a full payoff on my vehicle, via Western Union Quick Collect, as instructed by Wells Fargo, using the "code city" provided to me by Wells Fargo.

Seven days later, my van was towed from my driveway, carseats and all, to the impound lot per Wells Fargo. For five days now, I have been on the phone continually trying to get them to resolve this severe error on their part. They're rebuttle to me has been that I was provided with the "wrong code city" and although they "accepted" my money that was western unioned to them in full, they "cannot locate the funds" to "legally post them to my account" and "legally release my vehicle" to me.

Now I guess it would be wrong of me to suggest that if (one of my five children) is injured because they aren't able to be transported in their safety seats, Wells Fargo Auto Finance would be slapped with one the biggest law suits that they've ever been hit with.
