Having found it necessary to take Saturn Corporation to Small Claims Court because they sold me a BOMB! In the 65,000 miles that I owned this car it needed an INTERNAL CYLINDER HEAD REPLACEMENT DONE 3 TIMES. Saturn of Staten Island as well as the Saturn Corporation Sold me a bomb that they were unable to fix despite a recall notice acknowledging the problem my SC1 and others were prone to. The first time this occurred the car only had 21K miles on it and was less than 2 years old. As expected the dealership - Saturn of Staten Island, bamboozled me into thinking that this was no big deal and it would be fixed perfectly and my new car warranty would handle the cost. That repair lasted 16K miles and it blew yet again. This time my extended warranty paid for the repair, and that warranty cost me $800. Finally this CRAP CAR COMPANY issued a letter stating that my car and others like it sometimes had this problem but Saturn will fix it. Well the second repair lasted 22K miles and I was forced to pay nearly 2K to fix it. Hence, I took them to court.
They did not show and after explaining my reason for suing them, the arbitrator felt I was more than right. He also stated that had I driven this car more, it would have happened sooner and I could have collected on the LEMON LAW.
Its been 2 months since I won this judgment. I called the Court today to find out how I can expect to COLLECT THIS AMOUNT FROM THIS CORPORATE DYNAMO THAT SCREWED ME GOOD. It was then that the Court Clerk told me that they filed a motion to dismiss this case. However, i was never served or notified that this was done. I asked the Court Clerk if I didn't call you today, how would I know about this. He told me I might get served yet but make sure you show up in court on 3/29.
DEAR READERS, I REFUSE TO ALLOW THE SATURN CORPORATION TO GET AWAY WITH THIS SNEAKY BUSINESS OF NOT SERVING ME A SUMMONS, FOR NOT PAYING ME THE 2k judgment I already won. But most of all, do not buy saturn, many people got screwed, forget gm. Forget american cars. They legally steal your money for inferior cars and feel that they are above the law.
