My story stared in april of this year my motor blew on my 1996 buick skylark. I took the car into juans auto for the repairs and received the car back two weeks later. Everything seemed to be fine so i had them to repair the driver side window it wouldn't go down. Worst mistake of my life they fixed the window but crosse up some wires and messed up my intire steering collum
got home the next day and the car wouldn't start they picked the car up and told me about the short. I stated that i din'nt have a short until you guys messed with the window he told me he would fix it well needless to say the car came back 3 days later and it stopped in university park that is were they picked it up at. Everytime i picked the car up it would break down and they would tow it back to the shop so finally after two months of back and forth they said that they couldn't fix it so they sent it to a dealer they claimed when i got the car back i was shocked and appauled they had replaced my odomoter with one that read 169000 miles and my car only had 68000 miles on it not only that they had hit something and none of the panels were replaced over the electrical wires.
Well being that they had the car more than i at this point when i got it back i noticed that it was drinking gas like water and that was a 4 cylinder engine i went to work on one tank a week well i went to the shop and told them my concerns and he said that he would have to put a fuel regulator on the car this was in june well that didn;t work so they changed the head gaskets they claimed all the time they knew what was wrong with the car it was the wrong size engine juan told me they thought that that engine would work after spending an extra 500.00 on parts and labor they knew what the problem was already well needless to say the engine blew on august 12 and that was the last time i saw my car i have been up there 8 time yo inquire about my car he say i'll have it ready this week and now it's 15 weeks and as a result of this ordeal i have lost my job and am on the verge of loosing my home.
I sent a letter stating that i wanted the car returned in 7 business days and have contacted the bbb and filed a consumer affairs complaint i don't have the funds for an attorney so two weeks ago he agreed to give me 1500,00 dollars and still fix the car by that friday because i had a oppertunity to start another job well i'm still unemployed and still have no transportation and have been denied unemployment benifits
