Took our car to this business for repair, needed a new engine. It has been 3 months and still not fixed even though we paid the guy $1760 and he refuses to give us back our money. Originally told us for $950 he could get us an engine with only 8000 miles on it, he would put it in and give us a one year warranty for a totall of $1760. After three weeks or so, we got the car back, after a week, the engine blew. Took it back to Marty, after another 3 or 4 weeks and us requesting a refund, he put in a second engine, and that engine lasted one day and it also blew. Again, our hands were tied because he already had our $1760, we took it back afain to him, again waiting more than 3 weeks, he put in a third engine, so he says. After a few days the check engine light came on, we took it to him and he said there was nothing wrong with it and turned the light off. We drove the car another couple days and while driving in the middle of central ave the third engine blows. Marty, has had the car for over 2 weeks, says that he dont know what to doo with it and has done nothing with it since it has been there. This morning we had to have it towed out of place a business and taken to another auto shop to get fixed. Marty refuses to give us our money back even though we still have a car in the same condition as when it went in, although now we have to come up with more money to fix it. This is my sons car, my husband, passed away last year so things havent been easy. Family members all went together to help us get the $1760 to get his car fixed, now we have been scammed out of it and we still have to coam up with more money to take it somewhere where someone who knows what they are doing can fix it. We have been so wronged... So scammed and I am hoping that this guys is outed so theres dont get scammed by him too. We did do some investigating, he got the engines at A&D on n Detroit, they said that there never was an engine with only 8000 miles on it and they dont know how many miles are on their engines when they sell them. They also said that Marty never paid the $950 for an engine, which is what he said it was, their engines only see for around $500. So picking the car up today, he had our car pushed all the way to the road waiting for us to get it, and he has no plans on giving us our money back. This is a sad story that someone would do this to us. This guy is a scammer... Please alert people to the way he does business.
