Funny how everyone has the same complaint against Viking Dodge. I too fell victim. When I chose to get up & walk out because my child was hungry & didnt eat all day. The employess there surrounded myself, my child & my husband. There must have been 6 or 7 of their employees surrounding us. Finally when everything was said & done we traded in our 1998 Dodge Neon & left with a brand new 1999 Dodge Dakota extended cab. Payments were a tad high, but right at the top of our price range.
The next morning I get a call from Viking saying that I must come in with the $2,000.00 I promised or the payments would be $200.00 a month higher. I NEVER agreed to that whatsoever! I went in with my contract to prove I never agreed to that & that it wasnt on the contract. They had another one with a copy of our singatures (You can see the line from the other paper on their copy.) They told us that our Neon was sold (This was not even 10 hours later.)
Because we couldnt come up with another $2,000.00, they put us in a 1999 Dodge Neon. Not worth it since we just gave them our 1998 Neon with less than 10,000 miles on it. Our payments ended up being $455.00 a month for a Neon because the other was rolled over into it!!!
They treated us like garbage. Scared my child & scared me. I believe in Karma! One day everyone who has done wrong in that establishment will get theirs!!
