I ordered a new vehicle from CarsDirect.com. They provided me with a vehicle that was not new and had pre-existing damage. I obtained an estimate from a body shop for over $3500 to fix the damages. CarsDirect.com is not doing anything to help me.
The vehicle that they sold me 233 miles on it and was transferred from 4 different dealers via dealer trades. When this was brought to their attention, basically I was told that I was on my own. CarsDirect.com chose the VIN vehicle for me.
After I threatened to sue them, they then apologized for their earlier position but said I would need to give the dealer that sold me the vehicle a chance to fix the problems. I should not have to accept a repaired vehicle when I wanted the advertised new vehicle.
Company has sold consumer a damaged vehicle which was not disclosed at the time of purchase and has refused to take responsibility.
Consumer seeks you to buy back the vehicle for a trade as you did not disclose damages.
CARSDIRECT.com has so far failed to help me in any way despite my repeated attempts to get them to help me. CARSDIRECT.com selected a vehicle that had been dealer traded, was damaged and had miles. My concerns include: Bumper out of alignment, chips on front of vehicle (not caused by me), dent in passenger side door jam, deep scratches on center console, broken weather strip. Dealer caused swirl marks in paint. Still have outstanding issues as of 11-06.
