I, like others, was in a bad credit situation because of divorce. I paid in full for four (4) years to Triad Financial for a 1996 Blazer.
After the last payment was made, I contacted Triad for the lien release and title to be registered to me and then forwarded to my address. That was in 2005. It is Octo. 2006 and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING from Triad.
Triad claims they have sent the information, repeatedly, to my address. Nothing has ever arrived. I even sent them a SELF ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE with first class postage paid and heard nothing.
Severe weather in Houston caused flash flooding. The Blazer was parked in the street. It is now totaled. I cannot file a claim or collect because State Farm still shows Triad as the lien holder. I've even shown State Farm where the balance has been paid and a copy of each and every canceled check that, when added upm equal the exact amount Triad needed in order to satisfy the loan.
I'm more than willing to join any class action lawsuit. State Farm is working on my behalf to try and rectify this problem, but over a year later, I can get nothing but horrifically RUDE customer support from Triad. I feel 100% helpless.
