Back in April of this year. We went to Brentwood Dodge to buy a used mini van. We looked around the lot and found the one that we wanted. The van was loaded it had power sliding doors, power locks, etc. During the conservation about what features the van had. We asked the Salesman JD if the vehicle had an alarm. He said yes it did. Thinking that it came with an alarm we told him that we would take it.
From April until now we always thought that the vehicle had an alarm. When we would park it we would lock the doors using the remote that came with key. The power locks would activate and the horn would honk.
We just found out last week that the van never had an alarm. We called JD the salesman who sold it to us and he said "I thought that it had one". He also went on to say "Well anyone can make a mistake" He told us that if we wanted an alarm that we should of gotten a new van instead of a used one. Since the dealership refused to make it right by installing one free of charge. We had to go out to a car alarm store and pay $299.00 to have one installed.
