Rennsport was supposed to perform a 25 point check Lube/Oil/filter service, NYS inspection, go over car, fix shimmy in front end, and fix passenger window they had car for 1 1/2 weeks. They found an alleged $3200 worth of "other" repairs. I told them not to do the extra work I would pick up car and look at estimate, at this time I was given a quote of $338.40. When I went to pick the car up the price was now $678.09. They charged MORE than the dealer and DIDN'T do what I asked them to. They didn't do NYS inspection, didn't do LOF, didn't top off fluids. The owner claimed that's what he charges and he doesn't negotiate prices, I let him know that he was/is more expensive than the dealer, that the price was DOUBLE the estimate and not all work was performed and got a well that's my price and the way I run my business. I let him know I felt ripped off and would never use him again. He had done 1 prior service on my car and was reasonable on that one.
