Ripoff! In Centennial Colorado
I have had Centrix Financial for nine months. I feels like a prison sentence. I have had car loans in the past and have never had to deal with anyone like these people. From the beginning, they have said and done things that seem unreasonable and threatening. They have called on Sunday morning at 7:20 am before. Once my payment was over a week later than it would have been since their employee put the wrong acct.information in the computer and my acct. Was not debited on time. Of course they called and acted like it was my fault at first and then later never admitted their mistake or mentioned it again.
What finally made me want to report them however was last night I received a call from them. They are the "Unknown Caller". First they called last Sunday morning when I was only 4 days past due wanting to set up a payment for June.
However, last night took the cake. I get the third degree right away. This lady is asking me when I am going to be able to make a payment. I am "already" 8 days late. She is saying that June 22 is the last day they can take a payment from me or that the vehicle will be in collections and they will proceed to take it from me. I told her I didn't know if I would have it by then but 80% chance I would.
I was a little put back at how she was acting. She was saying that if they come and get the vehicle then it is sold wholesale then the rest of the balance I would owe to them. Then she said they would garnish my wages for the amount owed after they sell the vehicle. I told her I had never heard of this. She said for me to consult an attorney. Then she started raising her voice and telling me to read every word of the contract and that I am the one who signed it. She said they can come and get the vehicle if it is ONE day late. Anytime they feel I will not pay. I defended myself saying I have made 9 payments to them and that I am only 8 days past due.
The phone call concluded with her asking me what my work address was. I asked that how could Centrix not have my work address. I have worked for the same auto finance company for a year. She said they had the phone number but not the address.
I then gave my work address to her since I am not in hiding like she suggested.
I finally told her they could just come and get the truck if they wanted to. She said, well are you going to be at work next week? I said yes. So for all I know they will come and get it. It is no fun paying on a vehicle loan and everyday looking outside to see if it is there, when you make your payment 90% of the time within the grace period.
A person finally gets to the point to where the do not care what a crooked company says they are going to do. I suggest anyone that is looking to buy a car, steer clear of Centrix Financial. The worst lender in the world without a physical address to as well.
