On 5-05-06 I ordered a used transmission from Mid-City Auto Salvage, Dale told me it was going to take 7-10 business days to get to me. I paid 495.00 via check by phone the same day on 5-5-06. After almost 2 weeks with out receiving the transmission. I called bact to see what was goin on on 5-16-06 and left a message for the tracking department. They never called me back. I called back on 5-18-06 and spoke with some one in the parts department cause any department that I request in their phone system will only get me the parts department. I told him of my situation and he told me that it was already sent out and he will send me a tracking # to my e-mail. I called back on 5-23-06 to speak to the owner or manager. I was transferred to Shawn and he told me that he will speak to the e-mail department and get back with me. He then called me back the same day and told me that their was something wrong with the barcode and could not track down the transmission. I ask him for the delivery company and he told me it was R and L Carriers and to speak to Jan personnally. I called her and left a message. She called me back later that day with a story similar to shawns. I asked her for the general # to R and L carriers and spoke to customer service. They told me there was no shipment picked up from Mid-City Auto Parts to me from 5-5-06 up to that date and that Mid-Dity Auto parts was known to tell customers that they have sent the products already when they have not. I was shocked when I heard this from the carrier. I knew right away that I was going to have a hard time with this company because this was not their first time doing business this way. I called Shawn on 5-24-06 to let him know that I have not received the transmission yet and said I spoke with someone in customer service from R and L carriers and there were no records of him sending me the transmission. Shawn started yelling and cussing and said he told me to speak to Jan personnally and hung up the phone. I called him back and told me I want my money back cause I need a transmission right away and he hasn't even sent me my transmission. He hung up the phone again. I have not got my transmission as of today.
