I bought a used 1995 Toyota Avalon with Vin# 4T1GB11E3SU017746 for $5000 with the belief that it's in good condition, as Mike from Rides Auto introduced. When I got home, I conducted a background check on the internet. To my anger, I found the following report: "the car was salvaged and then restored. The title was reissued in Florida to hide the car's history. We called off the deal and found a different car." Because the title of the car has been changed, the history of the car is unknown; perhaps this car has even been involved in criminal proceedings.
Also the odometer reading shows 117082 miles, but the car's certificate of ownership lists the mileage as 167007 miles. The auto dealer claims that the mileage on the odometer is correct, but I do not believe him. Furthermore, I don't even know if the car contains a working airbag or not, which has a bearing on my family's safety. I want to return the car and get my money back. When I tried to discuss this with the dealer, he hung up the phone on me and was unwilling to discuss anything. I feel victimized and hope this situation gets put to justice as soon as possible.
