Buyers Beware Ripoff on overpriced, high mileage, rebuilt autos

Let the public beware of this Auto Dealer. They prey on the low income and bad credit auto buyers by selling automobiles that are not what they seem. Purchased an auto from them with an odometer reading of 158K only to find out that the motor had been replaced and cannot find out how many miles are on motor. Auto also had been rebuilt from an accident. Ran a Car Fax report and found 29 hits on the auto.

They offer a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty on engine and transmission, but will only replace with parts from a "bone yard" that they have. Like to state owner neglect to keep from having to honor warranty and to get additional charges from customers.

Cars are not checked out by mechanic. After 2 months had to have a complete brake job to the tune of 400 dollars after brakes went out. Found ABS light disconnected so that I could not tell that the ABS was not working at all.

After 2 months, motor has knocking and loose internal parts that were not apparant at test drive. Only apparant after first oil change. Oil that was in car was exceptionally thick and severely used. Supposed to have been serviced just before sale.

Offer free roadside assistance, but when you read the small print, this is only available in 4 month increments and only if you return to dealer for a $30 oil change each time. Costs of oil changes will far outweigh the cost of roadside assistance with other companies such as AAA, etc.

Found out from talking with mechanic, that they will exchange instrument clusters as a whole anytime there is a problem with the instruments, so mileage on odometer may not be the actual mileage on car. No way to tell.
All title said was Repo, no way to tell who was previous owner. Seemed to be sold to themselves before signing over to me.

Paid in excess of $2K too much for car. Resale at time of purchase on Excellent condition automobile was $2900 and bought car for $4900, and with 21.5% interest it came to over $5400 at final cost.

Car salesmen will say anything to get you in car, then will do nothing but demand payment of contract, or will threaten to ruin your credit, as they are supposed to report to credit bureau. Have had previous complaints from previous buyers about ruining credit ratings by reporting errors and reposessions on credit report that did not happen. Have been on local TV reports because of such.
