I was rear ended in a vehicle accident. The other person's insurance paid for everyting including a car rental. I was informed I was not resposible for any charges involved in the rental, including gas. Also I was given unlimited miles. Once I received the car, I asked the Enterprise employee (Brandon E.) If I need to fill it up when I brought it back. He said "Don't worry about it."
After returning the car on the specified date, I was informed I had to pay for the gas. The young women working argued with me and kept looking at my signature on the insurance agreement I had signed with Enterprise. There was nothing stated in the insurance agreement about gas or milage. The average cost of gasoline here in Oklahoma City is $2.50 per gallon. I was charged $3.18 per gallon. After arguing with me the young lady opted to split the total amount of the gas which was $19.08. I was in a hurry to get to school and paid the $9.54 out of fear that refusal would result in them (Enterprise employees) not giving me a ride to the auto body shop to pick up my truck.
