RIPOFF Dishonest FRAUD Won't Honor Warranty and Lost-Stole Kart

I have a store in Wylie Texas where I sell and service go-karts and ATVs.in April I purchased 3 SLGK-70 go karts for resale from SUNL Group, a Dallas distributor. Six days later I sold one of these karts, which was returned by the customer the next day. The carburetor had fallen apart while the customer's 10 yr boy was riding it, causing the gas pedal to stick wide open. Unable to control it, the boy hit a fence post. The kart also caught fire from leaking gas. I gave the customer a refund. Two days later I returned the kart to SUNL's national warehouse in Farmers Branch Texas for repair or replacement under the SUNL supposed 30 day warranty. Christine Rivera ([email protected]), district sales manager of SUNL, agreed that the kart was defective, but couldn't give me a replacement because they were out of stock on this particular model. Christine gave me repair ticket #0168 dated May 12 (she was in such a hurry to retrieve this dangerously defective kart that she did not even inquire as to the condition of the injured child). The repair ticket included my contact information: name, phone number and email address so they could contact me (which
SUNL never did, I contacted them on many occasions and have emails to prove it).

On June 14 I received an email from Christine that my kart was ready for pickup. I drove over to SUNL's warehouse only to be informed that it was NOT ready, parts and an engine would have to be ordered from China (taking 90 days to arrive by boat while my 30 day warranty was ticking). To make a long story short, I stopped by SUNL several times over the next few months. The kart was never ready, the parts never came in, and they never had another in stock to replace it. Also repeated emails were never answered. Finally after 10 months of excuses and stalling by SUNL, I drove back over to their warehouse and demanded a refund, exchange, or my kart back. I was then informed by Chris, the head Service Manager that "yes they remembered my kart" but that it was considered "abandoned because it had been there so long and was sent back to China". Also my repair ticket is "NULL and VOID" because I did not pick it up within the warranty period. So basically SUNL RIPPED ME OFF! I don't have the kart, they SAY they don't have the kart, they say they are NOT replacing or exchanging anything and that "I'm just out of my money".

After doing extensive research on the internet, I have learned that SUNL is well known for selling low-quality sub-standard junk, not carrying ANY replacement parts, and not honoring warranty claims. Basically if you buy any of their products, you're on your own. Once they get your money, there is ABSOLUTELY NO support after the sale. If your SUNL scooter or go-kart breaks, you're stuck with a useless pile of junk. And I also know from first hand experience, as I'm in the go kart repair business, I have a lot of SUNL go karts, scooters and ATVs brought in to my shop by desperate customers look for parts/repair (after being ignored and berated by SUNL's courteous? Customer service... Joke). Getting replacement parts is VERY hard. Take my advice and don't buy a SUNL product or go kart off the many online auctions or from one of SUNL's many drop-ship sellers! You'll notice on most of the EBAY or online listings, that the warranty starts from the day you order. Nice trick, you order a go kart, ATV, scooter, etc and it takes 3 weeks before you get it, then you only have one week left on the warranty (I consider EBAY a reputable company that has in the past cracked down on some of these ripoff artists).

I don't expect a resolution to my problem with SUNL. They took my money, I don't have the kart and it's obvious they care absolutely nothing about customer satisfaction or customer safety. I'm posting this mainly to warn other potential buyers... Do not do business with sunl. If you see any product with the SUNL name, AVOID them! SUNL is a RIPOFF Fraudulent company in my opinion (and I have the documentation and pictures to prove it)!

these 2 websites first: Simply search on the word SUNL and you'll find MANY MANY unhappy buyers of their products. People who have wasted their hard earned money.
