My husband and I went to Johnson Ford on March 14 to look at a Fusion. I spoke with the salesman and was told that I was denied credit online. I asked for more information and he spoke with the finance manager.
The finance manager decided that he could do something for me. I was then told to bring in my pay check stubs the next day.
I have been a teacher for 5 years, but had to resign in December due to medical reasons. I told both gentlemen from the beginning. Well on March 15 I took the pay stubs from BOTH of my present jobs. He plainly said that the finance company may not like that I am currently substituting.
I asked if I do not make enough money. He said this was not the problem. He told me to go and get my W2's from 2004 and 2005. I could have waited for the everyone to check everthing out, but he said everything was great and had me sign the contract.
Well almost 1 week later on March 21 we were told that the finance company CHANGED THIER MINDS... And we asked to return the car. What the heck!!! Beware!!!
