So, I wrote a rip off report back in Jan. About "Karl Malone Toyota sales manager Brandon The rudest sales manager..." and since then I called the general manager for that group of companies and told him about my experience, and he said he was very sorry and he could not believe that happened, He had no idea that his sales manager would do that.
He also told me he was going to personally call Stockton to Malone Honda and have his best sales manager roll out the red carpet for me and make me a great deal. He said he would take care of Brandon.
Well I never ended up going back, and to Stockton to Malone Toyota but I did get a lot of calls about vehicles I supposedly was doing internet inquiries about (but I was not inquiring about anything) So I just blew it off thinking it was a sales scam, they were just trying to get me down there to buy a vehicle. Well Yesterday, my bank calls asking me about a loan I applied for.
I called the lady back and said I did not apply for a loan and the lady said " oh my mistake I must have transposed some numbers. Then a few hours later the dealership calls me again about another vehicle I looked at today (I was never down there) so I call my bank again and ask about a loan, and my bank says I'm pre approved for 15,0000 and someone had phoned in to complete the loan. So I get the loan stopped, and lock down my account. And call Stockton to Malone Toyota and ask them about it and they play dumb and say they don't know who I am, but they will look into it and call me back.
About 10 min. Later they call back and say my phone number in attached to a name named Jason. (My name is Joseph) So now it's Sun. And I can't do any more about it until Tues. (mon. Is a holiday) But I did put a fraud alert on my credit with the 3 credit burros.
I'm going to call the general manager again on Tues. And let him know about this. I think Brandon was upset about me calling his boss and sold my information. This could be a possible lawsuit.
