On 1/24/06 I went to the Tuffy service center here in Melbourne Fl for a oil change from the start the Manager was unpleasant, stating I had a 1 hour wait and bad mouthing my usual oilchange garage [jiffy lube] because I mentioned I only had to wait 10 min there.
The complete oil change was advertised at $26.95 plus tax which included "topping off fluids". I noticed when it was done and I was on my way to work my windshield washer fluid light was STILL on [it always goes off when filled] AND I also noted a "shop supplies" charge at the bottom of reciept.
On 1/25/06 I phoned the shop and asked K. Perry the manager who had waited on me the previous day if he was aware my windshield fluids were not done as light always goes off when filled; also question was asked about the $1.08 for shop supplies. He became very defensive and unpleasant and stated "the $1.08 was for fliuds. I will give it back to you".
I said "you should NOT have charged me at All because all my fluids were included in the $26.95 for Entire oil change. I also stated "how can I trust all my fluids were topped off if I KNOW one was NOT done? I asked him at this time for the Owners name and phone #. He gave me the name but REFUSED to give me the #! I stated that this was very bad for business and he said Goodbye and HUNG UP!
I DID call back and actually spoke with the Owner who then offered to add the fluid but I will not go back due to poor service and poor customer relations. I do NOT trust them to take care of my car properly and being spoken to so nastily by the manager made my decision for me. They need to know that customers are not to be treated this way. Thank you
