One month ago I was charged $480.00 for a body kit for a honda civic. According to credit card processing rules the product must be ready for shipment at the time the card is charged. The kit was supposed to be ready for shipment.
One week goes by and still no sign of a product. I contact the company owner about a refund and he refused until he could verify with his supplier whether the product has shipped our not. I compensated with him and gave him about 1 more week to contact his supplier and to get me a tracking number.
It is now almost one month later and for the past 2-3 weeks he has refused a refund. He said if i want a refund the only way I am getting my money back is if it is forced upon him from the bank and he would not be refunding me willingly on his own without the pressures of my credit card company. I have filed for a chargeback with my bank and am awaiting the 'forced' refund.
