Purchased a used 2002 Ford Focus for my daughter, the car had everything my daughter was looking for.
We were told the car had zero problems other than needing new tires. Purchased on a Thursday evening and by Saturday the cd player was not working.
We spoke with the service department and found out the previous owner had brought the car in for the same problem with the cd player but had chose not to repair
Basically the dealership lied about the known problem and refuses to fix the problem. Car has a 6 disc cd changer and they want to take it out and put in a single disc player; not acceptable
Was basically told by the director of operations Gretchen Lipnick that we bought the car with the problem and that was our tough luck and she could contact thier team of lawyers at any time we could do nothing about it.
Appears to be another case of big business pushing the consumer around and ripping them off
