I purchased this TV and DVD player from a local retailer. The DVD player never worked and when I installed a DVD the screen displayed a message "disc not found" or the like. I was told by Westinghouse to bring it to a repair location where I left it for several weeks. The part needed for the DVD player came in but was not workable. So Westinghouse told me to ship the TV back to Westinghouse for repair / analysis / maybe a new TV.

After several weeks, Westinghouse sent me a TV with DVD player which, when I hooked it up to cable (another TV had be working with this cable connection) the screen displayed "no signal". To boot, I installed a DVD, the message "no disc" displayed and the DVD player ate my DVD.
In addition, Westinghouse recently changed their customer service number which I finally found on their website. But the if you dial the old customer service number (this number was on the paper work with the returned TV) 866-287-5555, a message says "the number you dialed is temporarily unavailable". This, to date has not been fixed even though Westinghouse customer service had been informed.
I had purchased an extended 3 year warrentee with the retailer and will probably try to resolve the situation with them. However, Westinghouse has no interest in backing up their products.
