I purchased a vehicle at Ernie Haire Ford in Tampa, Florida. During the whole purchase, the salesman (who's name escapes me) was telling me it was a 2004 Dodge Stratus ES. I was excited because that was the sports package Stratus I was looking for. Kevin, the sales manager was also helping out telling me how great of a car the ES is and how good it is with accelerations and all the cool features.
I had looked up the pricing for a Dodge Stratus ES and and Dodge Stratus SE on many different sites and for many different dealers. So I was expecting to pay around 14-15k for an ES or 11-13k for an SE. They wanted 15k for it, so I signed for it.
A few months later, I found a website that lets you look up your VIN number, I was bored, so I did. What did I find? My car was an SE. I was thouroughly PISSED! (excuse my language). I've been calling everyone I can trying to get this resolved and all I've gotten is voicemails and no one wants to call me back. This is $3,000 worht of money that is MINE.
Sincerely,
Thouroughly Pissed in Tampa
