Interested in a used truck i saw advertised. Drove to dealer and looked at the truck. Went on test drive with salesman. Asked to take truck home and show/pick up wife, then take it to a shop for a buyers inspection. Left my car at dealer. Was gone aprox 1 1/2 hours. Came back close to closing time but the sales man was gone, no one could find keys for my car i had left.
Had to take the truck home for the night. Returned next am to get my car, as i had decided to continue looking for a truck. The salesman makes an attempt to look all over the lot for my car-cant find it-says it must be locked in the detail shop. I insisted i wanted my car back and was told i would have to wait till the next day as there was no one there with keys to get it out. Had my wife come and get me.
Returned on the third day and was given the keys to my car by the receptionist (as the salesman was hiding) i find my car in the lot with different dealer license plate frames on it and ALL my personal stuff missing-cd's, checkbook, tools, sunglasses etc.., so i return to the showroom and ask to see the manager. Mr p.J. Strecker comes out and says theres not much he can do.By then i had realized that sunset had actually wholesaled my car i was going to trade in-BEFORE WE EVEN WENT IN THE OFFICE TO CRUNCH NUMBERS AND PUT A DEAL TOGETHER! I was upset and demanded to know what happened, things became heated and after i called him a crook and threatened to call the police he "rushed me" and we almost came to blows before my wife broke us up. I did call the police and a report was taken.
