I bought a dual muffler system and Muffler Man said it would last and if it didn't to come back and it would be replaced for free. Well, after the muffler and pipes rusted though in 2 years I went to them and they said oh well, we won't cover it now. It has been to long. Rather than fighting I went to see what other muffler shops said. They all said the same thing to me. "You had
this done at Muffler Man didn't you..." I went back to Muffler Man on 6-14-05 and they would not even talk to me after standing at the counter 10 minutes. I went to Tuffy and had the whole thing re-done for $319.07 and even he said that when he was taking the old pipes down that Muffler Man had used the cheapest pipes around. They rust easy so they need to be replaced sooner. I feel that if they would have just fixed the problem for me it would have solved my headaches. They sell a system under false statements and when something needs replacing they go back on the words. I asked to speak to Muffler Mans Corp office but, was told we are owned as a franchise so deal with it... I was only asking for the muffler amount but, after finding out the pipes were cheap to start with I think I should get more. They won't do anything for me. Never again...
