This is my story, I have bought a truck and during the test drive there was a sound comming from under the truck. When I got back i said that I liked the truck by I want it fix first. They said Ok.By the time I got out of their office is was almost 10:00pm and the service department was closed, and they would have it looked at in a few day's. Well this is were the real story begans. Day one I took MY truck in before i went to work. I found the man who sold me the truck because he know's what was going on with it. He took my keys and said he would call me later on that day, well about 5:15pm he called and said he had fix it. All that was wrong was that the intake manasfold was dirty and the system needed to be flushed. I said ok and i would like to have an invoice for the repairos that they did, he then informind me that because the company paid for it that there will be on invoice. (i think he never took it back).
Day two i took it back the very next day and said that the propblem was still there. Her took my truck and said he would call me. About 5:15pm he called and said that the breaks were dirty and that the truck was running right. I came down and picked up my truck, and once more ask for an invoice but was none.
About three days later i called the saleman on his cell phone and said that i was not happy with this truck, that the propblem is still here. He told me that they are very busy and that it would be the first of next week before i would be helped. Well mondy morning i took my truck down and left it. About 12:30 i called to see how it was going. All that he said was they ran test on the truck and they found that it would be a normal sound, and there is nothing moor they can do. So i went down and piced up my truck.
That same week i still had a bad truck, so i caslled travi's cell phone all day long and got no answere, so i called the stor then i found out that travis no longer worked there. So Friday morning my farther and i went down to Thompson asking to speek with a manager. The manager was very rud (he was so bad he even got in my dad's face) and said follow me, he took us down to the service department and sais "hear" tell them what is wrong and then left, like we were nothing. So i told the service department what i was expering. They told me that they would look into it. Well i had to replace the whole reaend of my truck and that would fix the propblem.
About a tow weeks later i still had the same propblem and went back to thompson asking to see the manager, i was then informed the he has been fired, so i walked down the the service desk and a nice person said he would help me. He told me that the truck i bought should of never been on the lot for sale because of ALL propblems it had... He told me he would fix my propblen and the list of things that were wrong with it too. Thay kept my car for one week and then he quite as well. To this day i have gone through five other people one thing after another. All i am saying is never buy from thompson's in springfield. My truck is now unsafe and i can no longer drive it. I can not even go the speed limit. I was told by another store that if the chain breaks i will lose controll of my truck... I have a family and do not want to heart them. I plan to be on the news soon.
