1990's Jeep Transmissions Defective and a Rip Off

I purchased a year old Jeep Grand Cherokee from Fair Honda, sister company of Danbury Dodge with approximately 60,000 miles on it. I also purchased it with an extended warantee. The following day I returned it stating that I thought the transmission did not sound right. They told me there was nothing wrong with it, that is the way Jeeps are.

In less than 36,000 more miles the transmission was shot. At the time, I was still under warrantee and had it repaired by Danbury Dodge as per AON the warantee companies suggestion. After I received the car back from the repair, I had to immediately return because the transmission was not right. At first they claimed nothing was wrong, until my husband returned with it and then they claimed that there was bad ring, which they replaced.

I then drive off with the car only to return again stating that the trans still did not seem right. They told my husband and I that the trans was fine, that they used heavy duty parts and that it was because I needed new brakes.

I immediatley fixed the brakes but this did not change the situation. So again we returned the car and again we were told there was nothing wrong with it. They claimed the heavy duty parts they used made it shift harder. We took them at their word.

Within less than 50,000 miles the transmission was shot again, this time to the point where the new transmission place could not even put it back together. This was a second rebuilt transmission for $2000 that had to be done. No one would do anything about it and claimed that it was not under warantee and I had to pay for it.

I then contacted the Department of Motor Vehicles dealers and repairers. Eventually getting someone who told me the following:
IN THE 1990'S WHEN DAIMLER TOOK OVER JEEP, THEY DECIDED TO USE A GENERIC TRANSMISSION IN ALL OF THEIR CARS. The transmission is not adequete enough for jeeps and hence why the transmissions keep failing.

i am now suing all three for damages. I have been told that a rebuilt transmission should last at least 100,000 miles. And the first transmission should have definitely lasted for 100,000 miles, and it did not even make that.
