Rebuilt transmission Fails after warranty runs out, only lasts 30k miles got taken for almost $3,000 ripoff

I am very disappointed with the quality and/or workmanship of the completely rebuilt transmission that only lasted for a little bit over 30k miles. The original one lasted for 120k miles. I feel like I was ripped off big-time. After it left me sit, I had it checked out and the diagnosis was internal problems again.

Obviously, inferior components were used to rebuild the transmission because they failed under normal driving conditions after only 30k miles. When I contacted Terry, the shop owner, we discussed the fact that the warranty had expired but that he would check it out. I was planning on keeping this car for at least another year or two but at this point, I could not drive the car and did not want to put more money into it so I traded it in for another one. If it had been rebuilt to a higher standard, it would have lasted a lot longer. I had it serviced at 23k miles and installed a recommended transmission cooler because of signs of overheating. That should have been a red flag right there that something they did was wrong or was failing. If this is the kind of work Lee Myles produces, I will never again bring another car to any of their shops and neither will any of my friends. I am very disgusted and disappointed with the service I paid $2,939.85 for.

Unless this wrong is made right, never again will I let a Lee Myles Transmission shop touch any of my cars. I will go to a reputable independent transmission shop that stands behind their work and their product. Any rebuilt transmission that fails under normal driving conditions after only 30k miles is not rebuilt properly or had inferior parts used in the rebuild. I feel I have been used, misled and taken for lots of money that I did not receive value for. My advice is if your transmission fails and you want to rebuild to keep the car, DO NOT go to Lee Myles. If you do, you will need another trnasmission in about 30k miles.
