My report is about carsponsorships.com. ("They refers to carsponsorships.com") They say you will get a sponsorship for 500-25,000 $'s if your car meets certain requirements. So I went to fill out the application, because my car is heavily modified.By the end of the application they asked for my credit card number.
They said they needed to charge my account 89$'s. They said it was for processing fees. So I figured the least I'll get is 500$'s for a sponsorship, so I did it.
When I read through their website one line had said "if your car is basically stock don't expect a 10,000$ sponsorship more like a 500-1000$ sponsorship to get you started. So I was like with my car I should get at least a 5000$ sponsorship.
Well when my sponsor package came it had these coupons in them. It said I could only use 100$'s a month and I could only buy one certain type of product from one particular compnay. It was only worth about 600$'s.
Then I did some research on the company and come to find out they're charging everyone this 89$ processing fee and giving everyone this so called sponsorship. It has nothing to do with your car or modifications done to your car.
Then on top of that you have to put these ridiculously large decals on your car. The 600's they gave you is to put these decals on your car.
So I'm going to end this complaint saying carsponsorships.com is a rip-off and is very misleading. You don't get any money. But they sure are making money off (89$ processing fee) all these poor unsuspecting mostly teenage consumers.
