Hiring scam, deceptive, trickery, employment scam, false advertising, bad management

Do not respond for a job as a salesman at this dealership an ad goes into the local paper needing salesman, you respond to it, but be sure to read closely. A $595 training coarse that you assume is paid by the dealership, wrong! The kicker is you go call for an interview, (oh yea, no walk ins, call,) and find out its not the dealership but, someone who puts on a so called training program, charges you this crazy amount of money for a duplicated binder of crap to handle your customers with.

At the end of this "read as you go training, " you assume you have a binding job. On the last day your told to go to any dealership selected by the trainer and good luck, they don't know your coming or do they? You could do all this youself without the class. I wonder if the dealerships, Mac Haik included, gets a kick back from these training classes. The instructor tells you after 3 months the dealership will pay you back on the class, but, if they get rid of you before then, your out of a job, out your money and they keep placing their ad with their name on it, looking for salesman and taking advantage of people who's only interest is to create a living.

By the way, the dearlership will tell you they don't pay you back for this. So you begin your career, fully trained right? Well now lets blow up balloons, have meetings, and move lots of cars and trucks from one section of the display lot to the other section. I'm sure this will make you lots of sales this week. During the coarse of your hands on, good luck training, lets begin hell week. All customers are a sale, you should know everything about this job and if you don't we will yell like little babies and treat you like crap so we can replace you with a fresh piece of meat. Your fired or you can go home.

I lasted a month before the grand call of, "i don't know why you didn't sell any cars, you tried so hard, " (i did sell two.)" i guess they didn't feel it in their ego trip or were stumbling on the bodies of those being let go for one reason or another." "we are going to have to let you go." dah! Without professional managers teaching quality training how are you suppose to sell cars. Oh yea and don't forget the special salesman, these are the ones provided with all the satisfaction of managements protection, leads, ok on the sale, want some time off guy, you get the picture. The best senario at this dealership is, you have to sell 8 cars a month or your out the door. Give a guy a chance and train him and you might get 20 cars out the door.

I just looked in the paper, need seven more at this dealership or was it nine. I'm still trying to figure out what 9 x $595 a class comes up to. I guess its time to make some more money, besides selling cars. Good luck in your future of selling cars. Beware! It could cost you.
