My wife and I rented a car from Enterprise on december 14th while my wife car was being repaired from an auto accident that was at fault by another person. The person insurance company progressive suggested Enterprise for a rental car and that they would cover all charges for the rental. After we got the car from enterprise they claimed all they had was a small mazda protege dx no power windows and smelled of cigarettes and had tape with the gear shift letters on it such as Park Drive Reverse etc, a piece of tape can you believe that. And this car was suppose to be equivelent to my wife's 2002 fully loaded honda accord.
We were upset and told them to get us another car and they keep saying they were out at all locations to check back the next day which i did and they told me to come get a car by six o clock they will have one there. I got off work and drove out to there location and got there right around 5:59 and then they said they can't help me come back tommorow that the keys are all locked up. I was pissed off after I drove in 5:00 traffic for an hour and called when I was almost there to let them know I was almost there. They are all a bunch of idiots over there. I will never rent a car from there again and I will let others know.
To top things off the body shop didn't have the car ready and we had to keep that piece of junk car an extra day. They were not helpful in any way at all. If my wife and I were already pissed off we had to drive around in that car smelling of cigarettes with our two kids they turn around and charged my wifes check card for an extra day plus insurance without telling her after I was in there a few days later to get my garage door opener I left in their crappy car. They had already charged her card for the 3 days of car insurance and then turned around a week later and charged her card again for an additional day which was ridiculous.
The body shop that fixed my wifes car is less than a quarter mile from the enterprise location and the rental car place told us to leave the car there when we picked up my wifes car. The body shop has some sort of dealings with enterpise and when the car was returned they came and picked up the car when they felt like it and charged my wifes card for a whole day for them picking up the car late 2 hours after the car was dropped off. They are rude and do not care about their customers at all.
Dont ever rent from Enterprise Rent a car they will rip you off and dont let you know of the charges until they appear on you account.
