Never again will I shop at The Brick

My wife and I bought a bedroom group on April 3rd in Thunder Bay that included a queen bed (headboard, footboard and rails), one night stand and a dresser with mirror. They were in the flyer and on sale. We waited until the 3rd because the salesman said that the second nightstand was going on sale the next day and we could do the deal on both. I asked him if they'd run out by the 3rd and he said, and I quote, "Don't worry, we have loads". Fine. No problem right? After waiting 10 days for it to be delivered, the footboard was crushed beyond repair (obviously sent out that way) and the nightstand was damaged as well. I sent them both back along with the rails for the bed because the delivery driver told me they were in the same box. When I went in to inform customer service of the damaged items they told me that the rails were in a separate box. I told them I wanted them back when the replacement footboard and nightstand were delivered. Another two weeks later, they brought the replacement nightstand and footboard with no rails and the second nightstand was nowhere to be found. Called the store and nobody knew about the second nightstand because nobody bothered to order it like they said they would and besides that they were back-ordered until June and as for the rails, nobody knows. So, here I am nearly TWO MONTHS later and my $2000 mattress and box spring set are still on the floor like a college student because nobody has bothered to find me some replacements and I haven't heard a word in weeks as to whether or not somebody might be working on it. I can't call them because I'm so furious all I do is yell. What kind of company puts stuff on sale and doesn't have the stock to meet demand? Not a very good one. The salesman lied to me saying they had loads in stock, because it turns out that some of the pieces had been back-ordered since the beginning of the sale in April. I'm beyond fed up and am not wasting any money trying to call head office to sort this out. Somebody there better read this and and get a hold of me and sort it out once and for all so I never have to deal with them again. Disappointed doesn't even cover it. 1,000, 000 frowny faces attached to this.
