Never delivered items as promised. Still charged full price

On July 30 My wife and I went to the local Sleepy's store located at 918 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford, CT. Our dealings were directly with the store manager Vincent. We had selected a bed combination style that included a Posture-Tempic Serenade Queen sized mattress and box spring along with a Fashion Bed Group Biltmore Bed, Style B11B25 with a sagebrush finish matching nightstand. We were informed that this was a special order item and would take up to two (2) weeks to be delivered in its entirety. This product is available for review on the web at http://www.everythingfurniture.com/fbg-biltmore-bed-sagebrush-queen.html

Note that at the above is a competitor's website and that the price available there, it says that? A matching nightstand completes the look?

7/31 A couple of Sleepy's deliverymen brought over the bed and box spring and proceeded to? Try? To bring the box spring to the bedroom where the bed was going. Unfortunately, they decided without an attempt, that such a box-spring could not be maneuvered to the bedroom and that they would need to deliver a split-box spring within 3-5 days at an additional $100 surcharge. This delivery was overseen by my wife, as I was at work at the time. After the delivery was made, I was informed via phone call at work, about what happened. At that time I called Sleepy's to inform them that there was no way that charging me for the ineptitude of the deliverymen was acceptable. They said that they would expedite the order and have a split box-spring delivered at no extra charge within a few days. When I arrived home, I found that the mattress had been placed in the room, standing on its long side so as to block the entrance in and out of the room. I had to manually move the existing bed out of the room and my wife and I were forced to sleep on the mattress on the floor for the next couple of nights. A few days later, the split box spring had arrived. This would turn out to be the way we had to sleep for the next 3 weeks.

8/14? I called Sleepy's on the status of the bed frame set and was told that the order had not been yet been processed to initiate it's purchase from the manufacturer. This was the delivery date that we were told by Vincent and yet we find that it had not been even processed yet. I was told that it would take another 6-8 weeks to receive the frame. We were still sleeping on the box-spring and mattress on the floor at this point. My wife, being pregnant, was finding great trouble having to rise from the floor position, this to say the least, an inconvenience.

8/24 - We received a call that the bed frame set was ready for delivery in a few days. We had arranged for the 28th of August to take delivery of the bed frame set.

8/28? The bed frame set was delivered while I was at work. Our roommate had been here to oversee its delivery. When I arrived home, I found that we were not given a nightstand as promised, and that that the footboard of the bed was damaged in such a manner that the upper railing was bent and not inline with the rest of the footboard. I called Sleepy's to be told that there is no matching nightstand, even though we were told that it was included by the store manager, Vincent, and as such literature in the in-store catalog had displayed. The phone representative told me that they would have to come and take the bed frame back in order to process a new order with the manufacturer to get a new bed frame set. This seemed a bit excessive as the only portion of the bed that was a problem was the footboard. I then informed the representative that this was unacceptable because my wife and I had been sleeping on the floor. Eventually we negotiated that only the headboard and footboard had to be removed. This was to be processed the following day.

8/29? The delivery team came by to pickup the current headboard and footboard.
